My collection takes inspiration from Pompeii’s civilisations fashion, faith and resourceful living. My collection is seasonless and gender neutral inspired by the genderless forms of togas created by draping. Prints and embroidery have been inspired by the Roman gods linked to nature including Faunus, Neptune and Flora. Colours were inspired by the incredible frescoes still seen in Pompeii.

NAVIGATION
I explored historical methods of navigation used at sea. This interior collection incorporates key navigational elements: land, wind, wave, sun and stars. I have been inspired by the glamorous interiors of 1920's and 1930’s cruise liners, taking their essence of art deco sophistication and glamour. All digital embroideries are made from leather off cuts. This was a partnered project with Miliken Carpet Tiles in which I won 4th prize and a commendation.
